Can't open default email application from ChoiceMail
ChoiceMail uses a registry entry to determine the name of the default email application. If you have removed your default email application, that registry entry might not have been updated and so ChoiceMail would not know which application to open. Neither would other applications that use the mailto: key to find the email program .

The register key for the mailto: URL is HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\mailto\shell\open\command.

You can use regedit to check that this entry has a mail application associated with it. If not, you can add the full path and filename to your mail application yourself. Reinstalling your email application may do that automatically.

Note - be very careful changing registry entries as incorrect usage can cause your computer to seriously malfunction.
