Nag Message:
The installation has failed
When ChoiceMail One starts, it incidentally runs a program called cmupdater.exe whose job is to check for updates. Normally, that program will run silently if there are no updates.

However, some users are reporting that if they are not connected to the internet when ChoiceMail One starts (dial-up users for example), then a message appears that says
   "The installation has failed"
This problem appears to be happening because the updater program cannot actually connect to the internet to determine whether there is in fact an update.

For now, the solution is to disable automatic update checking in ChoiceMail. You can do this by going to Options | Preferences and unchecking the entry "Periodically check for updates"

You can check for updates manually from time to time by clicking on Help | Check for updates
