Problem: users starting ChoiceMail get an error message with a "Shrinker" error with the message "the parameter is not correct"

This problem has been seen on Windows XP and occurs if ChoiceMail is configured to run in compatability mode.

To fix this problem, perform the following actions:

1. Navigate to the folder where your ChoiceMail executable is installed (the default is c:\Program Files\DigiPortal Software\ChoiceMail)
   
2. Find the ChoiceMail application, called ChoiceMail.exe


If you have file extensions disabled, the easiest way to find this program is to click on "View | Details" in explorer so that you can see the "Type" of the program. You will be looking for the program called ChoiceMail with type "application"


3. Right-click on the program and select "Properties" from the popup menu.
   
   
4. One of the tabs in the dialog that pops up will be called "Compatability". Click on that tab.
   
   
5. You will see a checkbox called "Run ChoiceMail in compatability mode". Make sure that that box is unchecked. Then press OK to close the dialogs
