If you have decided to uninstall ChoiceMail, you must use the “Add/Remove Programs” application in the control panel to run the uninstaller. Make sure that ChoiceMail is not running during the uninstall.

Warning: do not simply delete the ChoiceMail folders – you may lose some email messages that you have not yet approved. Before uninstalling, you should make sure that you have downloaded all the emails that are not yet approved if you think they are important.

Restoring your original settings
If you are using Outlook Express or Eudora and you configured your settings through the wizard, ChoiceMail took a snapshot of your original email appliction settings before changing them. This information is available to the uninstaller so that if you do decide to uninstall ChoiceMail, your original email settings can be restored.

If you configured your email application settings manually, then you will have to reconfigure them yourself after uninstalling ChoiceMail.
